The cynicism is gone...the hard copy group board pack (40 pages excluding the operational pack...75 with it) has now been banished. Bill (Group MD) has abolished the practise of all 12 members of the board getting a couple of oak-trees worth of paper. The group board meetings are structured on-line with participants making personal notes rather than printing out reams of paper.
Angela (Bill's PA) is probably the biggest winner as she doesn't have to put the things together anymore - however this has had a positive ripple throughout the organisation - all the subsidiary packs are now delivered on line too...
