The Premex Grand Prix 2008
17 April 2008On Wednesday 16th April 2008, Premex Group hosted its annual grand prix karting event at Speed Karting in Warrington.
An extremely competitive event was enjoyed by all with the final race being won by Dug Conaty of AI Claims. The night was spread out over 5 qualifying races of 3 laps with a final race at the end for the top 10 drivers.
Speed Karting in Warrington has the largest, longest running indoor karting circuit in the UK. As of October 2006, it is the only 3 level karting circuit in the UK. The circuit is over 1000 metres long with the average track width being 9 metres on the flat.
