  • Donald New

    Donald Fowler

    Group Chief Executive

    Donald joined Premex in 2008 during which time he has overseen significant growth in the business in addition to the evolution of Premex's leading IT platform. He has also worked with his colleagues on the Premex Group board to incorporate the company into the ExamWorks global family. Prior to joining Premex Donald worked in both the legal and financial sectors, spending five years in private practice as a corporate lawyer followed by a further eight years in the banking and private equity sectors with the Bank of Scotland.

  • Simon Margolis 003

    Simon Margolis

    Group Chairman

    Simon qualified in Medicine from the Universities of St Andrews and Manchester, subsequently working in several hospital posts and as a General Practitioner before founding Premex in 1996.

    In 2012 Simon was appointed as Chairman of AMRO for a second term having previously held the position in 2006 when he was heavily involved in the formation of the MRO agreement which followed on from the case of Woollard v Fowler.

    Mike Cutler

    Managing Director, Premex Services

    Mike qualified as a solicitor in 1999 within Liverpool law firm Silverbeck Rymer's Personal Injury department, where he became a partner before leaving to join Keoghs where he became Managing Director of their Claimant arm, K2 Solicitors. Mike returned to Silverbeck Rymer, in 2006, as a partner and their Claimant Operations Manager.

    In May 2009, after working closely with Premex in a client / supplier relationship for over 6 years, Mike joined Premex in the role of Operations Director, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge of the sector. In October 2013 Mike was appointedManaging Director of Premex Services.

    Ian Hill

    Group Finance Director

    Ian, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, was a founding partner of TMG Corporate Finance which specialises in capital transactions in the SME market. Ian had spent over 15 years as a corporate finance adviser. Ian joined Premex in 2005 as Group Finance Director.

  • Chris Wheatley 001

    Chris Wheatley

    Commercial Director

    Chris is a marketing professional, commencing his career at Adidas international AG, and progressing to Sports Marketing manager. Chris moved on to work for HBOS, heading up its medico legal division Micrah, before it was acquired by Premex in 2006.

    Having completed an MBA, specialising in relationship management and development, Chris is well placed to lead a commercial and marketing team in a highly competitive marketplace.

    Peter Higson

    Operations Director

    Peter started his career at AXA, where he held various roles within the underwriting, claims and HR departments.  Prior to joining Premex, Peter gained extensive operations management experience working across a variety of companies including Marks and Spencer, Ticketline and Ceridian. 

    Peter joined Premex in 2014 and is focused on continuing to drive service delivery, innovative systems and customer centric solutions to ensure Premex is best placed to meet the demands of an evolving market.

    Maria Hardwidge

    Head of Premex+

    Since joining Premex in 2001, Maria has worked across the business and has managed the Operations Department since 2012. With an intricate knowledge of the company's processes and customer requirements, Maria is now focused on operations management within the company's complex injury service, Premex+.   Maria will continue to develop the brand and service in order to offer a high quality and tailored service designed specifically for specialist cases.

    Caroline Russell

    General Counsel and Head of Compliance

    Caroline joined Premex in 2009 and advises the Premex Group in respect of a wide range of legal and compliance matters. Caroline is responsible for driving forward the Premex Group compliance and risk management programme, helping to ensure that the Premex ethos of continual improvement and active risk management is the forefront of the Group strategy.

    Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and spent seven years as a corporate lawyer in Manchester, initially with Brabners Chaffe Street and latterly as an associate with DLA Piper. 

  • Tamsyn

    Tamsyn Haselden

    Group HR Director

    Tamsyn is a qualified HR professional (FCIPD) and Occupational Psychologist (AFBPsS) who has worked across a variety of business sectors. Starting her career with Royal Mail Group and then Reckitt Benckiser, Tamsyn is dedicated to delivering strong commercially-focused outcomes for the business. Change management and high performance are critical factors to business success and both involve bringing our people with us on the journey. 

  • Mike D

    Mike Dunleavy

    Sales Director

    Mike has spent the majority of the last 15 years in senior sales leadership roles in the Records Management industry, leading teams to sell BPO (business process outsourcing) solutions.  Mike also spent 2 years in that period as Sales Director for the Port of Liverpool, helping to grow volume and value of imports and exports through the port, including the Manchester Ship Canal.
