Last weekend Richard Neve, Business Development Manager , took part in the annual Medieval Monkey Tour. The event is organised by Bankstone, and involved a group of nine monkey bikes travelling around historic sites across Yorkshire in fancy dress all in aid of charity!
For those of you wondering what on earth a Monkey bike is, it is the name given to a small, low powered motorcycle. The tour covered over 350 miles taking in 10 medieval locations around the county of Yorkshire. Richard is most comfortable on two wheels as he is a keen biker and cyclist. However, having spent over sixteen hours on the bikes across two days Richard and the riders were relieved to finish at 6pm on Sunday. They collected money along the way for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and you can still donate onlinewww.justgiving.com/medievalmonkeys
