We are delighted to announce that Premex has been shortlisted for the Manchester Evening News business of the year awards.

With winners from previous years across a huge variety of industry sectors, the   Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards have become one of the most recognised ceremonies on the calendar.

The Premex Group has been nominated alongside three other candidates in the Business of the Year (£25-£50m turnover) category, and Dr Simon Margolis, CEO of Premex Group expressed his pleasure at being on the shortlist. "These awards are a testament to those local businesses that are growing, expanding and innovating.

"The judging criteria includes competitiveness; employee excellence, financial performance, innovation and customer service and we believe demonstrate these in everything we do. The judges have been particularly impressed with our technology offerings through  Vu and   X-Port that enhance customer service and generate real value for our customers.

Kevin Feddy, business editor of the M.E.N, said: "This year's competition has attracted another crop of outstanding businesses and I would like to congratulate the finalists on their progress.

"They are shining examples of how to innovate, achieve growth and expand into new markets despite the challenging economic conditions, and their success reflects the wealth of entrepreneurial talent which exists in the region."

The winners will be unveiled at a gala dinner at The Point, at Lancashire County Cricket Club on Thursday, November 17.    Please click here for more information about the awards.  Fingers crossed!  Next month's Premextra will have a full roundup of the night.
