Medco – One week left…

There’s just a week remaining for you to have your say on the MedCo Framework Review. The Call for Evidence deadline is on Friday 4th September so how can you ensure you get your voice heard?

1. You can help by making your voice heard

The well documented issues with MedCo can only be addressed if you, the service users, provide the MOJ with evidence of the problems that this new system has created.  With just a handful of case studies from each of you detailing issues you've encountered, we can work towards a solution that benefits the industry, delivers independence and meets the original MedCo objectives whilst keeping the Claimant at the heart of the process.

2. What should I feedback in my response?

The Call for Evidence sets out a number of detailed questions around the functioning of MedCo. You should look to give evidence of any issues that you have encountered when using MedCo, for example issues with experts and MRO responsiveness, appointment / report provision, availability of MROs with which you have existing terms on the search output, together with your view on how MedCo could be improved.

3. Deadline for written responses is the 4th September

We ask that you please ensure that you respond to the consultation, given that your response is the only route to ensuring changes are made for the better. We also invite you to contact your Premex account manager if you have any questions.
