With the theme ‘Leading by Example’, experts will first hear about the impact of the MOJ reforms and what the industry can expect during 2017-2018. There will also be an opening address from Premex Managing Director Mike Cutler who will review the latest developments at Premex as well as an insight into the company’s future business aspirations.
Among the guest speakers will be Lynden Alexander whose presentation on report writing skills will focus on how to get a report fully compliant with part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Consultant Clinical Psychologist Hugh Koch will take the stage to explain some all-important points about psychological injuries, referral, treatment options and prognoses.
A number of consultant orthopaedic surgeons will be speaking at the event including Akhtar Khan, who will discuss the MOJ MedCo accreditation and its relevance to whiplash claim assessments. Tom Cosker and Sherif El Sayed will discuss non-spinal ortho injuries sustained in accidents; again advising experts on diagnosis, treatment, referral and prognosis.
With A&E Professor Patrick Nee completing the roster ably chaired by Premex Chief Medical Officer Scot Darling, the day promises to be engaging and informative.
