Premex Services, the country's largest provider of independent medical reports, has begun a new strategic partnership with the legal network, Brain Injury Group.
Premex Services' endorsement by the Brain Injury Group means its growing membership of more than 30 specialist law firms, will have access to the market leading complex injury product, Premex + (Premex Plus) which assists advisors who manage the most serious injury cases.
The Brain Injury Group offers expert legal and specialist support services for people affected by brain injury, as well as campaigning on their behalf. Its network of members also benefit from the Group's growing public presence and campaigning stance, with the Group an active supporter of major initiatives such as Carers Week in June and Road Safety Week in November.
Donald Fowler, Managing Director at Premex Services, says the membership can now expect cutting edge medico-legal expertise. "I'm very pleased we were able to take the opportunity to partner with the Brain Injury Group. It is a dynamic organisation with a clear focus on supporting brain injured people and their families.
"The partnership is doubly pleasing because we invested in Premex + in response to the fact that solicitors, including those who are part of the Brain Injury Group, increasingly need more than just a one size fits all approach from a medical reporting organisation. Our services, including in-house nursing support, recruitment of specialist medical experts and dedicated expert panels with specific knowledge in complex areas will hopefully chime well with the Brain Injury Group's requirements."
Sally Dunscombe, Operations Director of the Brain Injury Group, added: "We're delighted to have Premex Services on board. It is a highly innovative organisation and Premex+ is a product I know our membership will appreciate having access to. The Brain Injury Group provides a complete package of support for brain injured people and their families. Nevertheless the claimant's journey can be a challenging one so it's incumbent upon us to keep making the process work better for the solicitors they instruct. Our partnership with Premex Services will help us achieve this."
The Brain Injury Group has also brought their association with other specialist service providers to the alliance. Re:cognition Health, a specialist provider of neurological reports and clinical services to patients with cognitive problems via their team of 40+ specialist consultants, and Silva Legal Services (formerly Silva Consultancy), who provide a comprehensive medical record pagination service for personal injury and clinical negligence cases, can now be instructed via Premex Services, increasing the benefits offered to both members and clients alike.
